web-based platform for designing

Every student at my school has a Chromebook, and I would like for them to create their own designs for Eggbot instead of using the ones that have already been created. Is there a web-based platform where they can design and then I can load it in to Inkscape? I am a little inexperienced with graphic design and would appreciate advice. Thanks!

Inkscape is fundamentally an "SVG editor" and any other SVG generator can create input for it. Many of them are web based or can be run on a Chromebook without issue. However, I don't have a template pre-generated
