Arduino ISP Shield
Folks,
Recently I decided to move beyond working with Arduino and Arduino clones and try my hand at programming the ATtiny85. This led me to several discoveries that I wanted to note here for others:
1. The Evil Mad Scientist Arduino ISP Shield is easy to assemble, highly hackable and easy to use. It can be used to program other microprocessors beyond the ATmega168/328.
2. The ISP Shield can be found at least at some MicroCenters if you happen to live near one and find yourself in need of of an ISP programmer.
3. There are some great resources that make expanding to the ATtiny85 micro-processor from the Arduino quite doable.
