I have a FTDI USB TTL Cable, http://shop.evilmadscientist.com/productsmenu/partsmenu/130-usbttl and it works great for re-programming my Alpha Clock Five, but I am looking for a similar cable, just without any other circuitry. Seems like a waste to take a $20 cable and cut of the $10 - $15 dollar end. I am interested in using such a cable to connect the Alpha Clock Five to a Raspberry PI using the PI's serial port on the GPIO pins instead of a USB adapter.
