Yes I should have made it clearer. I intend on using a circuit that has 5 volts, much like you would use to power a USB device. I was thinking of using 150 Ohm resistors

I'd like to be able to run the Larson Scanner in my vehicle as a security indicator when the alarm is on. Can this be accomplished by changing the 9 16 Ohm resistors to a hogher value?
